2 of 32: First runner-up to Kelly Clarkson on season 1, Justin Guarini, was a sensation, quickly rising to fame in 2002. After starring in the movie, 'From Justin to Kelly' with Clarkson, the curly haired kid virtually dropped out of the spotlight.

Since 'Idol,' Guarini has released three albums, including one self-titled album right after the show and an acoustic EP, 'Revolve,' in 2008. On the other hand, Guarini has found greater success on television. He has since popped up on 'Run of the House,' and as himself on 'Gone Country,' and 'Rachael Ray.' In 2007, the TV Guide Network signed him as the permanent co-host for 'Idol Tonight' and 'Idol Wrap.' He is also a recurring commentator on FOX News Channel, MSNBC, and the Style Channel.

Most recently, Guarini made his debut as Carlos on the Broadway adaption of 'Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. In March 2011, he played Will in the Broadway musical 'American Idiot.'

On April 26, 2011, the singer and his wife Reina Capodici welcomed a son named William Neko Bell Guarini. This is the first child for Guarini and second for Capodici, who has a daughter from a previous relationship. ( Photo / Tony Phipps/Myspace.com/justinguarini)
