15 of 32: Despite heating up the stage in season five, Chris Daughtry was eliminated in fourth place. Daughtry did not let his elimination get in the way of his dreams. He quickly formed his own band, Daughtry, and was given a record deal with RCA Records. The band's debut album was named the No. 1 selling album of 2007 by Billboard Top Charts.

Daughtry is now a multi-platinum selling artist with huge hits such as 'It's Not Over,' and 'Over You.' He has also worked with many famous bands like One Republic and Nickelback. He's also collaborated with another 'Idol' alum, Ace Young, and the two have remained friends since appearing together on season five. Daughtry is considered to be the third most successful 'Idol' alum in terms of record sales, after Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.

In January of 2011, he tweeted that his fans should be expecting a new album set to be released soon. He lives with his wife and their four kids. ( Photo / Myspace.com/daughtry)
