Justin Guarini, the runner-up from the first season of 'American Idol,' gained notoriety following his run on the singing competition show for his curly hair and charismatic stage presence.
Guarini starred alongside Clarkson in the film 'From Justin to Kelly' and released his self-titled debut album in 2003, both of which failed to garner the singer the same commercial acclaim as Clarkson. Guarini was subsequently dropped from his record label and went on to co-produce his second album, 'Stranger Things Have Happened,' independently. Guarini ultimately found success as a television personality, appearing as the host of TV Guide Network's 'Idol Tonight' and 'Idol Wrap' in 2007 and regularly appears as a commentator on MSNBC, FOX News and Style Network.
Guarini has also found success on the theatrical stage, appearing as Carlos in the original Broadway adaptation of 'Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown' and as Will in the Broadway musical 'American Idiot,' based on the music by Green Day. Guarini wed Reina Capodici in 2009 and welcomed their first child, William Neko Bell Guarini, on April 26, 2011. On Feb. 25, 2013, the pair welcomed a second child , Asher.
