Nicole Kidman earned an Oscar nomination for the 2011 Academy Awards for her role as a grieving mother in the movie 'Rabbit Hole.'
She said in a statement: 'What an extraordinary journey this film has taken me on! 'Rabbit Hole' has been a labor of love and I'm so thankful to John Cameron Mitchell, David Lindsay-Abaire and the brilliant cast. This nomination reflects all of the heart and soul that these people have put into it and I can't thank them enough.'
This is Kidman's third Oscar nomination. She won an Academy Award in 2003 for her role in the 2002 movie 'The Hours' and was nominated for an Oscar for her part in the 2001 movie 'Moulin Rouge!.' Kidman has also starred in films such as 'The Others' and 'Eyes Wide Shut' with then-husband Tom Cruise.(KABC Photo)
