2 of 11: Geena Davis played the Rockford Peaches' resident catcher, No. 8 Dottie Hinson, in 'A League of Their Own.'

Prior to her role as Dottie, Davis had received critical acclaim for roles in the films 'The Accidental Tourist' and 'Thelma and Louise' and later went onto star in the children's film 'Stuart Little.' In 2005, Davis starred in the ABC drama series 'Commander in Chief,' where she portrayed the first female president of the United States. The role earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series. The show was canceled after one season. Davis went on to appear in the movie 'Accidents Happen' in 2009 and in Lake Bell's 2013 film 'In a World...'
