Randy Taylor, played by teenage heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas, was the middle child and environmentalist on 'Home Improvement.' He left the show in 1998 when his character went to Costa Rica for a year. While on the show, he starred in various films, such as 'Tom and Huck' in 1994, 'Wild America' in 1997 and 'I'll be Home for Christmas' in 1998.
Thomas, whose real name is Jonathan Weiss, was also the voice of Young Simba in Disney's animated film, 'The Lion King' in 1994. After 'Home Improvement,' he appeared on shows such as '8 Simple Rules' in 2004 and 'Veronica Mars' in 2005.
His last appearance was on a short film, 'The Extra,' in 2006. Thomas, who will be 30 in September 2011, took time out of the spotlight to attend Harvard University, but didn't graduate. He went on to attend Columbia University.
