'90s TV stars: Where Are They Now?

64 of 95: On the series 'Hang Time,' Megan Parlen played Deering High School's head cheerleader, Mary-Beth Pepperton. Along with her co-star, Danielle Deutscher, Parlen was one of the only two that remained on the show for its entirety.

'Hang Time' lasted five years, but Parlen's on-screen career did not last much longer after the series ended. In 2003, Parlen voiced characters for the film 'Elysium' and the video games, 'Gladius,' 'Underground' and 'Nicktoons Movin' Eye Toy.'

Parlen later returned to school. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and went on to get her master's degree in broadcast journalism with an emphasis in documentary filmmaking at the University of Southern California (USC).

Today, Parlen works as an associate producer for a production company in Southern California and has produced several documentaries.
