Elizabeth Berkley of 'Saved By The Bell' and 'Showgirls' fame announced on March 6, 2012 that she is pregnant with her first baby.
'In life there are moments you cherish forever and this is one of them,' the 39-year-old actress said on her Twitter page. 'Greg and I are so excited to be expecting our 1st child this summer. We couldn't be more grateful and overjoyed. xoxo'
Berkley is referring to her artist and clothing designer husband Greg Lauren. The 42-year-old's uncle is fashion mogul Ralph Lauren. Greg Lauren married Berkley in 2003. He has also had roles in films such as 'Boogie Nights,' 'A Time To Kill' and 'Batman Forever' and played Brett Nelson on the soap opera 'The Young and The Restless' in 1999.

The actress went on to star in the 1995 R-rated film 'Showgirls,' playing a former prostitute and stripper who will stop at nothing to headline her own, glamorous Las Vegas show. The movie bombed at the box office but became a cult hit on cable.
Berkeley appeared in movies such as 'The First Wives Club' and played a teacher who is wrongfully accused of sexually assaulting one of her students in the 2003 television film 'Student Seduction.' She later had recurring roles on shows such as 'The L Word' and 'CSI: Miami.' In 2009, she starred in the 'Donnie Darko' spin-off film 'S. Darko' and in 2011, appeared in the television movie 'Lucky Christmas.'
