25 of 95:
Bill Nye, otherwise known as Bill Nye the Science Guy, used his expertise in science and humor in his own show to get kids interested in science. Since his show, also called 'Bill Nye, the Science Guy,' ended in 1998 after about five years, Nye stuck to his scientific expertise and quirky bow ties. He made several television appearances in shows like 'Stargate: Atlantis' in 2008.
In 2011, he filmed a documentary, 'Zero Energy America.'
In November 2010, Nye collapsed during a speech at the University of Southern California (USC), then quickly got up and continued his presentation. A student witness said that Nye collapsed in mid-sentence at the podium and about 10 seconds later he regained consciousness and asked the audience how long he was out.
