In the 1990s, Karl Urban, a native of New Zealand, starred on 'Hercules: The Legendary Journeys' and its spinoff 'Xena: Warrior Princess,' in which he played three roles (pictured above, second from left) -- Cupid, Julius Caesar and a power-hungry young villager.
He also played Eomer in the films 'The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers' and 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King ' and appeared in the movies 'The Chronicles of Riddick,' 'The Bourne Supremacy,' 'Doom' and 'Pathfinder' before he was cast as Dr. Leonard 'Bones' McCoy in the 2009 'Star Trek' film. He reprised his role in the 2013 sequel, 'Star Trek Into Darkness.'
Urban and his wife, Natalie, have been married since 2004 and have two children.
