Phil Harris of the reality show 'Deadliest Catch' died at age 53 on Feb. 9, 2010 following a stroke in January. He was rushed to a hospital in Anchorage, Alaska and underwent a 12-hour operation to remove part of his skull to try to relieve pressure on his brain. With his family's consent, his hospitalization was captured on camera for the documentary crab fishing series.
'Deadliest Catch' aired tribute episodes in his honor. His sons say they will star in a seventh season of the hit show. (Pictured: Captain Phil Harris in a promotional photo for 'Deadliest Catch'.)(Discovery Networks)
