Demi Moore, 49, said in a statement on Nov. 17, 2011, that she had decided to end her six-year marriage to Ashton Kutcher, 33. The news came after several reports about his alleged infidelity, which he has not confirmed.
Throughout their marriage, the two appeared goofy and happy in many photos they Tweeted of themselves on Twitter, where both command a following of several million fans.
Despite the separation, Moore said in December that changing her Twitter username, 'MrsKutcher,' was not a 'top priority right now.'
The 'Two and a Half Men' actor married Moore in September 2005 after dating her for about two years. The actress was previously married to Bruce Willis, father of her three children, and to singer Freddie Moore.
Rumors that Kutcher allegedly cheated on Moore surfaced online and in tabloid magazine reports in late September. In mid-October, a 22-year-old woman named Sara Leal told Us Weekly in a video interview that she and Kutcher had a one night stand. She said he had told her at the time that he was "separated" and added that her life 'has been a mess' ever since the incident.
Kutcher and Moore have not commented about the alleged incident.
However, Kutcher did appear in a video that showed him blasting the media and the way 'people can bastardize the truth.' He appeared in the clip without his wedding ring.
