In November 2011, country singer Shania Twain's alleged stalker, former doctor Giovanni (John) Palumbo was denied bail when a judge determined he had an 'insufficient release plan.'
His reaction to the ruling was to lash out at the court, yelling, 'You know you're all very sick, you really are -- it's so sad... Have fun, because I'm going to keep having fun, wherever I am... What a bunch of psychopaths. Woo hoo. Shame, shame, shame. Shame on all of you!'
In Twain's video testimony, she detailed the love letters she had received from Palumbo and said she feared his unwanted visits. Palumbo has been seen at Twain's family cottage, her grandmother's funeral and at the Juno Awards in March 2011, which is where he was arrested.
