2 of 10: 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' (2005) - British siblings Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy step through a secret portal inside a wardrobe to discover the magical land of Narnia, where fauns and centaurs roam and where the White Witch has made it so that it is always winter and never Christmas. No Hanukkah either. Talk about your Seasonal Affective Disorder.

The film, based on the novels by C.S. Lewis, also continues the Christianity theme as protagonist Aslan the Lion agrees to be sacrificed by the Witch, but doesn't exactly remain dead. Also, Santa makes a cameo. (Pictured: Georgie Henley and James McAvoy appear in a scene from the 2005 movie, 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.')
