But there is one role the 59-year-old actor regrets taking - criminal profiler Jason Gideon on the CBS show "Criminal Minds." The actor made his debut on the pilot in 2005 and quit in 2007, to the surprise of cast members and producers. He has in recent years discussed publicly why left - because of its gruesome violence. In a recent interview, Patinkin took it a step further.
Carrie Underwood, 30, is still not quite ready for motherhood.

FOX has announced that it is reviving the hit spy series "24," which starred Kiefer Sutherland and originally aired for eight seasons, between 2001 and 2010. The news comes following the recent cancellations of the network's drama "Touch," the actor's most recent show, and the ABC sitcom "Happy Endings," which starred Eliza Cuthbert, who played his character's daughter on "24."
Aretha Franklin has canceled two upcoming concerts due to a doctor's recommendation that she receive treatment for an undisclosed medical illness, according to a statement posted on Franklin's official Facebook page on Monday, May 13.
Franklin was set to perform with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on May 20 and at Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Connecticut on May 26. The statement did not specify what Franklin was being treated for.
Taylor Swift is just one of the musical acts set to perform at the CMT Music Awards 2013, it was announced on Monday, May 13.
Other musicians set to perform at the event include Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan and Pistol Annies, according to a statement by CMT. Swift is up for two awards at the show including Video of the Year for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and Female Video of the Year for "Begin Again."
Daft Punk's highly anticipated new album "Random Access Memories" made its debut on Monday, May 13, by streaming on iTunes.
The album, which can be heard here, isn't available for purchase in the United States until May 21. Fans first got a taste of what was in store when the duo debuted their lead single "Get Lucky" last month. "Get Lucky" features vocals by Pharrell Williams and bass by Nile Rodgers.
