Julianne Hough may be making comments that come across as harsh while serving as a guest judge on "Dancing With The Stars," but the former dance pro says it's all in good fun.
Hough made her most recent guest-judging appearance on the April 7 episode of season 18, during week 4 of the competition. She criticized professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy's performance with "switch-up" partner Danica McKellar, saying that he was merely going through the motions and that she wanted the switch to be over so he could return to real partner Meryl Davis.
Dance fans, our world is a jumbled mess this week. Just as we were getting used to the idea of Maks and Meryl, or Nene and Tony, or Cody and Witney ... the rug is pulled out from under all of us.
But it's our own doing, isn't it? It wasn't the producers or the judges who decided the new pairings for this one week only "Switch-Up Night." We did it with our own votes and tweets. The article featured in the issue (Warning: article contains explicit images), which hits newsstands on April 22, details the behind-the-scenes work that went into the singer's latest tour and music. While the writer, Aaron Hicklin, could only ask Beyonce questions via email, because she was in the middle of her international tour, he also had access to many of the singer's collaborators over at her company, Parkwood Entertainment.
