Zac Efron says speaking to the dead would be 'fulfilling'; 'Charlie St. Cloud' opens on July 30
Zac Efron is flexing his acting muscles in the upcoming drama film Charlie St. Cloud, in which he plays a character that talks to the dead - a gift he says he'd like to have.
"I think it'd be incredibly fulfilling," Efron told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "I don't know if I'd want it forever but it'd be great to talk to a few specific people. It'd be a blessing and a curse."
In Charlie St. Cloud, which opens on July 30, Efron is haunted by the death of his brother, literally. He is in fact able to see and communicate with his ghost.
"What I'm sort of craving inside was something that was a challenge, that was different, that might not work. Like some risk," Efron said. "It was so fun to go and dig deep and try something new and sustain that emotional character for so long. It felt great."
