Zac Efron masters the art of "naked planking" for his role in the R-rated comedy "That Awkward Moment."

The film, which also stars Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller, follows three 20-something single friends living in New York City, who go through several dating ups and downs after one of them experiences a bad break-up. The movie hits theaters on Jan. 31.

Efron, who also is a producer on the film, and his co-stars chatted with OTRC.com at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie on Jan. 27, where they all shared what audiences of both sexes will take away from the film, how the cast bonded prior to filming and...something about naked planking.

Watch full interviews with the "That Awkward Moment" cast above and check out our favorite quotes from the interviews below.

1. Efron recalls his most awkward moment during filming: naked planking.

"It was a unique story. I recognized a lot of myself and a lot of my best friends in these characters. These are two guys I wanted to work with and a director that I'd kill to work with so, it was an easy choice in my opinion. This was some of the most awkward moments of my life: planking naked on a toilet, the whole crew around you...it was pretty damn awkward, but I hope everybody enjoys it."

2. Jordan recalls a mountain bonding trip with his co-stars.

"Me, Zac, [director] Tom Gormican and Imogen Poots went up to the mountains in upstate New York and we just spent a couple days to hang out and bond, go over the script and what not. Miles [Teller] was busy working, he thinks he's a working actor , he's always doing something. But he just kind of fit right in. When we got back into town, we just hit it off and the chemistry's there."

3. Teller says girls will get a "fly-on-the-wall" peak at to what guys really talk about.

"I talk to girls that kind of grew up with brothers and they said for them they've heard this talk before, but for a lot of girls I don't think they've seen guys behind closed doors...which how would they? This is kind of like a fly-on-the-wall for a movie that's just guys hanging out and then being sweet around their girls."
