"The X Factor" judging panel is finally complete -- and it's a female-dominated line up. The FOX singing series, which has already secured returning cast member Demi Lovato for the third season, is also set to feature Grammy-award winning artist Kelly Rowland and global pop star Paulina Rubio as the newest additions to the show's judging panel. "I am very excited to be reuniting with Simon Cowell and 'The X Factor' family," Rowland said in a statement. "It feels great to be able to take this journey here at home in the states!" The founding Destiny's Child member, who is also known for her songs "Motivation" and "When Love Takes Over," has taken part in "The X Factor" before. Rowland appeared alongside Cowell on the eighth season of the U.K. version of the singing competition show. "I love 'The X Factor'! I can't wait to find the next big music star here in America," Rubio, 41, said in a statement. "I'm so thrilled to be part of the show as a judge. Simon, be careful what you wish for, let's see if you are ready to handle me, empieza la fiesta, amigo!" Production on the third season of "The X Factor" was slated to begin on Tuesday, May 21, according to EW. It was announced in March that Lovato would be returning for the new season. Rubio, who is known for her expansive music career -- having released over 10 studio albums in both English and Spanish -- Tweeted her excitement about her first day with the project, posting: "En camino a south carolina charleston primer dia filmando Xfactor! Dicidida a ganar!" In English, the May 21 post roughly translates to: "On the way to Charleston, South Carolina for the first day of filming 'The X Factor.' Determined to win!" In December 2012, L.A. Reid, who served as a judge for the first two seasons of the show, announced that he would be leaving the singing show. Britney Spears, who joined the singing series in season 2 along with Lovato, confirmed her exit from the show shortly after, adding that she was leaving to focus on creating new music. In April, it was announced that Mario Lopez would return as the show's host while Khloe Kardashian Odom would not. The two co-hosted together during the second season. Rowland has been busy with her own career, currently gearing up for the release of her fourth solo studio album "Talk A Good Game," which is due out on June 18. Earlier this week she released a new single from the album called "Dirty Laundry." In the song, she revealed that she once dated an abusive boyfriend and admitted to feeling jealousy over Beyonce's success (Check out the lyrics).
