Winona Ryder, 39, says she wants a husband
Winona Ryder, who stars in the new ballet thriller "Black Swan' with Natalie Portman, is still single at age 39 but is keen to "bag" a husband soon.
In the film, which hits theaters on Friday, Ryder plays a ballerina that Portman's character replaces as the lead in "Swan Lake". The new girl must deal with a manipulative dance master as well as a rival ballerina, portrayed by Kunis.
She told Us Weekly magazine lately that there are a lot of "cute writers" in San Francisco, where she lives, adding: "I gotta bag me a husband!"
Ryder, known for movies such as "Girl, Interrupted" and "Reality Bites", has in the past been linked to actor Matt Damon, soul Asylum singer Dave Pirner and actor Johnny Depp, to whom she was engaged for three years in the early 1990s.
She made headlines in December 2001 when she was arrested for shoplifting in Beverly Hills. She was convicted of theft and vandalism and given three years of probation, community service, some $3,700 in fines and ordered to attend counseling.
Ryder can be seen next in "The Dilemma", a comedy film starring Vince Vaughn that is set for release on Jan. 14, 2011.
