Will Smith has finally explained why he turned down the title role of Quentin Tarantino's 2012 film "Django Unchained" -- he says he wanted to play the main character.

The part of Django, a slave-turned-bounty hunter, went to Jamie Foxx.Tarantino, who won an Oscar for his original screenplay, said on Howard Stern's Sirius XM satellite radio show in December that he had first spoken to Smith about playing Django. The actor did not talk about it publicly at the time.

"After having the possibility to think and analyze everything that happened, now I do apologize for my behavior," Sediuk said in a statement. "But I still hope for other meeting... I think it was too much... I can say it was it was an emotional impulse. Will Smith is a person whom I deeply respect as an actor, I've been watching him since my childhood and of course when I met him in Moscow finally I just wanted to do something, not extraordinary, but to impress him."

Will Smith revisited his television past recently and even led an audience in a sing-along of the theme song from his sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

Smith appeared on "The Graham Norton Show" on May 18 to promote the upcoming release of "Men In Black 3." Video of Smith's appearance can be seen below.

Will Smith got upset after an overly-friendly welcome from a Ukrainian reporter at the Moscow premiere of "Men in Black 3" on Friday.

In the press line, Smith greeted the man, who proceeded to give the actor kisses on both cheeks and apparently got too close to a mouth kiss, which caught the actor off-guard. Smith pushed the man back, saying "What the hell is your problem, buddy?" before slapping him with the back of his hand.

The first trailer for "Men in Black III" has been released and sees Will Smith's character, alien-fighting Agent J, "jumping" back in time to 1969 and teaming up with his old partner, Agent K.

It also shows Josh Brolin doing his best Tommy Lee Jones impression, as the "True Grit" and "No Country For Old Men" actor plays a younger Agent K. Jones reprises his role as the present-day version of the character.

The first clip from the upcoming film "Men in Black III" has revealed stars Will Smith and Josh Brolin using monowheels as transportation.

In the clip, a young Agent Kay (Brolin) asks Agent Jay (Smith), "Do you have these in the future?" while pulling the vehicles out from under their destroyed car. The pair then proceed to chase down a time-traveling alien named Boris (Jermaine Clement of "Flight of the Conchords") who came back to 1969 in an attempt to remove Agent Kay from existence.

Jada Pinkett Smith has addressed the rumors that she and husband Will Smith are facing marital troubles.

In August 2011, Will Smith and Pinkett Smith released a joint statement denying reports that the two had ended their 13-year marriage. Pinkett Smith again addressed the rumors in a recent interview with French magazine Gala, saying that they both know the truth.
