Will Ferrell gives NBA players special introductions at game (Video)
Will Ferrell took time off from filming in New Orleans to introduce NBA players at the New Orleans Hornets and the Chicago Bulls game on Wednesday.
In his introductions, Ferrell offered some hilarious one-liners about the players, telling the crowd that Bulls forward Carlos Boozer "still lives with his mother" and Hornets center Emeka Okafor is "from Connecticut, where he majored in Econ, but he minored in love."
He also joked that The Bulls' Derrick Rose's "favorite movie is 'The Notebook'" and Bulls player Luol Deng "collects rare birds and has a pet dolphin named Chachi."
The Bulls beat the Hornets 90 to 67 on Wednesday, February 8.
The 44-year-old actor is in New Orleans filming "Dog Fight," which will follow two rival South Carolina politicians with presidential aspirations fight for victory. The movie, which is slated for release on August 10, 2012, will star Zach Galifianakis as Ferrell's opponent and also features Jason Sudeikis, Dan Aykroyd, Brian Cox, Dylan McDermott and John Lithgow.
Ferrell is known for his work in several films like "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," "Zoolander," "Elf" and "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby." The comedian also served on seven seasons of "Saturday Night Live" from 1995 to 2002 and recently did a multi-episode arc on "The Office."
