Variety reports the studio is planning a live-action version of the classic fairy tale Pinocchio. The magazine says producer Dan Jinks is on board, with writer Bryan Fuller.  The pair made Emmy-winning magic on the ABC series Pushing Daisies.

Theres no word on a cast, or even a star just yet, but the studios nose would probably grow a bit if it didnt admit the idea of Pinocchio was inspired by Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland, starring Johnny Depp, which grossed more than $334 million.  Now thats a tea party!
