Vanessa Williams an 'exciting addition' to 'Desperate Housewives'

Vanessa Williams' Sweetest Days are still well ahead of her. The Ugly Betty diva is joining the cast of Desperate Housewives in the fall, and by all indications, the cast cant wait to have her.

"Vanessas gonna be a huge addition, shes so talented," star James Denton told On The Red Carpets Rachel Smith at a charity softball game for ALS. "And everything Ive heard about her, I havent met her, but everybody loves her, in the industry. I havent heard a bad word about her. So thats always exciting."

Desperate Housewives returns this September on ABC.

Also guest starring next season on Desperate Housewives is actor Brian Austin Green.
