Vanessa Minnillo recently celebrated her bachelorette party at LAVO in Las Vegas on June 17 and OnTheRedCarpet.com host Rachel Smith got a chance to catch up with her and chat about Minnillo's upcoming wedding to Nick Lachey, their plans on starting a family and her new job as co-host of "Wipeout."

So how did Lachey choose a ring? Did Minnillo give him a little guidance? "Actually I didn't. Well, wait that's a lie. Only in terms of he asked me because of the cut and I said, 'I do like asscher [cut] because I'm a little OCD," Minnillo told Smith. "But then I said, as far as size and setting it's up to you baby."

The couple announced their engagement on November 4, but have not revealed a wedding date.

This will be the second marriage for Lachey. He and singer Jessica Simpson divorced in 2006. The two starred on the MTV reality show "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica," which documented their married life together.

Minnillo, who is a former Miss Teen USA and television host of shows like "True Beauty," starred in a music video for Lachey's song "What's Left of Me," which was about his divorce from Simpson.

Manillo's schedule is about to get a little more crowded. It was announced on June 16 that she will take on co-hosting duties on the game show "Wipeout" for the fifth season. Minnilo will first make her appearance on the show's winter edition for the 2011-2012 television season.

"I got the email that we are going to start filming [at] the end of September, beginning of October," she said.

"Nick and I want to get married before 2012," she added about the couple's schedule, "that gives us six months to get married. He has to go back to 'The Sing-Off' at the end of July. I have 'Wipe Out' in the end of September and then we want to start having babies, so ... I have a lot to do."

Nick Lachey told OnTheRedCarpet.com in a satellite interview on June 10 that he is also eager to have kids.

"I don't think it'll be too long. You know we both are family people and we, I think we share that," Lachey said when asked when he and Minnillo would try to start their family. "We want to have a family and we're very excited about that, so I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't take too long. At least that's my hope. I'm getting up there. I gotta start pumping them out."
