Fan favorite shows like the "Vampire Diaries" and "Supernatural" have been renewed for another season, The CW announced on May 3.
The network also announced in a statement "90210" has also been picked up for a new season as well. The three scripted series join "America's Next Top Model" as the only series green lit so far for another season on the network.
"The Vampire Diaries," which stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, will go on for a fourth season. The series is the network's highest-rated show. "Supernatural" with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki will gear up for an eight season. "90210" will return for a fifth season.
The fates of high profile freshman shows like Sarah Michelle Gellar's "Ringer" and Rachel Bilson's "Hart of Dixie" remains unknown. The network will present its full fall line-up to advertisers in late May in New York.
