Get ready for some new U2 music on Super Bowl Sunday.

The Irish rock group's new song "Invisible" is set to debut on Feb. 2 in a commercial that will air during the NFL Super Bowl XLVIII. The ad shows U2 performing the track and is part of a music video directed by Mark Romanek. The track will also be made available that day to download for free on iTunes for 24 hours, U2 announced in a statement posted on the band's website on Thursday.

Lead singer Bono talked about "Invisible" at the Weinstein Company's 2014 Golden Globes after party on Jan. 12. He told Showbiz 411 that "Invisible" is "not your typical love song" and that U2 is still working on its new album, which is set to be released in June. It will be the group's 13th major studio record and the first released since its 2009 album "No Line on the Horizon."

"Invisible" was produced by Danger Mouse and mixed by Tom Elmhirst. The band said in its statement that the song "launches a partnership with (RED) and Bank of America to fight AIDS," the message said, referring to the group Bono and Bobby Shriver founded in 2006.

"Every time the track is downloaded, anywhere in the world, a $1 donation will be made to (RED) by Bank of America - up to a total of $2 million," the group added. "All the funds will go to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria."

U2's most recent new song was "Ordinary Love," which was released in November and is featured in the movie "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom." The track is nominated for an Oscar. (Check out a full list of 2014 Oscar nominations).
