'Twilight Eclipse' Earns $175 million in six days; 'Toy Story 3' passes $300 million mark

Audiences pushed the record breaking Twilight Saga: Eclipse to a total six-day gross of $175 million. However, the number falls just shy of New Moon's $178 million earned in its first six days. Eclipse has grossed $275 million worldwide so far.
Pixars Toy Story 3 passed the $300 million mark, hauling in $42 million in four days this weekend. The film is now Pixar's second highest grossing film falling just behind Finding Nemos $339.7 million gross. It is expected to surpass the film by the end of its box office run.
Meanwhile, The Last Airbendersurpassed expectations and poor reviews to make $70 in the first five days of its run. The M. Knight Shyamalan helmed film earned $40 million over the three-day weekend.More OnTheRedCarpet.com
