Two deceased and beloved 1990s pop culture icons will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014 -- rap legend Tupac Shakur and "Simpsons" and "SNL" star Phil Hartman.

Hollywood Chamber of Commerce officials revealed the list of celebrity recipients on Thursday, June 20, before unveiling the 2,500th star, which honors Jennifer Lopez. She attended the ceremony with her twins, Max and Emme. Others set to receive a star next year include actor Orlando Bloom and singer Katy Perry.

Shakur, one of the most popular music artists in the world in the 1990s, was killed at age 25 in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996.

Hartman provided the voices of popular characters Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz on "The Simpsons" and starred on "SNL" in the 1980s and 1990s. The Canadian actor, known for his booming voice, was shot dead by his wife in 1998. He was 49 years old.
