Toni Braxton scores reality show, 'Braxton Family Values,' on WE tv
Toni Braxton will be returning to reality TV this spring with her own show, "Braxton Family Values."
The first 10 episodes will premiere on WE tv and will follow the Grammy award-winning singer, her mother Evelyn and her four sisters Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar who are all aspiring singers, with varying degrees of success, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
"WE tv's programming showcases the wild ride of relationships during life's defining moments," WE tv's president and general manager Kim Martin said in a statement. "As women, we share a connection and a sense of community based on similar life experiences and situations."
The 44-year-old "Un-Break My Heart" singer most recently appeared in the seventh season of "Dancing with the Stars." Braxton has fallen on hard times recently, after filing for bankruptcy in October 2010 and separating from her husband of 10-years, Keri Lewis in 2009. She has two sons, Denim and Diezel.
The new year is looking good for the R&B singer who will also co-star in the 2011 family movie, "The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure" alongside Jamie Pressly and Cloris Leachman.
"Braxton Family Values" is slated to premiere on WE tv on Tuesday, April 12 at 9pm ET.
