Tom Hanks greets autistic fan after Broadway performance (Video)
Tom Hanks happily greeted super fan Sarah Moretti after a performance of the Broadway show "Lucky Guy" and there are videos, which can be seen below, from the heartwarming moment.
The videos of Hanks meeting Moretti, who has autism, spread like wildfire over the Internet on Thursday, Oct. 24, after a link was posted on Reddit.
In the videos, which were uploaded in March, Hanks is seen hugging Moretti, looking through a scrapbook Moretti made chronicling his career and signing the scrapbook.
According to the video description, Moretti has followed Hanks' career for many years.
"Sweetie, how wonderful is it to meet you," Hanks tells Moretti. "I love meeting you."
Hanks continues to look through the scrapbook and says, "Sarah, this is so great! You know, my mom doesn't have something like this."
A spokesperson for Hanks had no immediate comment on the videos.
Hanks rose to fame starring in films like "Big" and "Splash." In September 2013, Hanks' "Splash" co-star Daryl Hannah revealed in an interview with People magazine that she was diagnosed with autism as a child.
