"Slumdog Millionaire" actress Freida Pinto sings the praises of her "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" director Rupert Wyatt and said he made the film more "grounded."
"I'm excited for two people as far as this film's concerned and it's Andy Serkis and Rupert Wyatt," Pinto, 26, told OnTheRedCarpet.com co-host Chris Balish at the film's recent Los Angeles premiere.

Tom Felton, who stars in the new movie "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," says he is glad to be a part of a film that is unrelated to "Harry Potter."
"Rise of the Planet of the Apes," which hit theaters on August 5, is a prequel to the film franchise, which depicts the power struggle of apes whose intelligence is boosted via human experimentation.
James Franco is touted as the biggest star in the big budget prequel "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," but the actor thinks that the visual effects company and actor Andy Serkis should get most of the credit for the film.
"Andy had to wear gray pajamas and wires and he had a camera on an arm pointed at his face," Franco told OnTheRedCarpet.com co-host Chris Balish at the film's recent Los Angeles premiere.
Andy Serkis was the most-talked about actor on the "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" red carpet premiere, but you might not recognize his face from the film's trailer.
Serkis portrayed the film's lead chimp, Caesar, using "performance capture" technology created by the Weta Digital special effects team and was universally praised by his live action co-stars. Serkis previously worked with Weta on "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers," where he played Gollum. He also played the behemoth King Kong in Peter Jackson's 2005 film.
Tom Felton has some words of caution for would-be viewers of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2".
"It gets ugly," the 23-year-old actor, who plays platinum blond-haired Hogwarts student Draco Malfoy, told OnTheRedCarpet.com correspondent Jacob Burch. "They really tore the place apart. It's kind of like the war on Hogwarts, where everyone comes together for this final sort of battle."
