Tom Felton addresses 'Harry Potter' co-star Emma Watson's 'huge crush' on him (Video)

In a recent interview, actress Emma Watson admitted she once had "a huge crush" on Tom Felton, her "Harry Potter" co-star who plays the nefarious Draco Malfoy in the films.

Felton opened up about the issue in a recent interview with OnTheRedCarpet.com correspondent Jacob Burch.

"Yeah, that's a testament to how long we've been doing this," he said. "I think she was about 10 and I was maybe 12 or something like that," he said. "It was very flattering. I heard it through the grapevine somewhere along the lines and we've been good friends ever since."

"It's nice that we can kind of look back at those things and laugh about them," he added.

In the "Harry Potter" movies and books, Malfoy, whose parents are both wizards, often insults Granger, born to a human couple, by calling her a "Mudblood," which is deemed a derogatory term. The two do not become romantically involved, but fans have for years created websites and written stories depicting a romance between them.

Watson told Seventeen magazine in an interview published in its August issue: "For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush." She added, "He totally knows. We talked about it. We still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that's cool."

Felton also chatted briefly about the end of a 10-year chapter in his life, filming the eight "Harry Potter" films.

"It's bittersweet, you know?" he said. "We've all very glad and grateful that we've had the run that we've had," he said. "It's obviously sad to say good-bye to the kind of mini family we've grown up with."
