Tom Cruise's neighbor tasered and arrested after trespassing actor's home
A neighbor of actor Tom Cruise was tasered and arrested after trespassing on the actor's property in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday, October 28.
According to The Associated Press, a security guard at Cruise's mansion saw a man climbing a fence to get onto the grounds at 9:30 p.m. The guard used a stun gun on the trespasser and waited for police to arrive.
The trespasser was an intoxicated neighbor of Cruise named Jason Sullivan. Sullivan, 41, was later treated at a hospital and arrested on suspicion of trespassing in Beverly Hills. He was released on $500 bail at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, October 29. Cruise was not home at the time of the incident, according to a statement from the actor's attorney Bert Fields.
"Tom is in England working on two films. Fortunately, none of his children were at the house," Fields said in a statement obtained by KABC Televison, OTRC.com's parent company. "We have every confidence in the Beverly Hills Police, who have all the information."
Cruise is currently filming "All You Need Is Kill," with Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton.
