Tia Mowry of 'Sister, Sister' fame pregnant with first child

Tia Mowry, star of "Sister, Sister" and the BET series "The Game," is pregnant with her first child, a BET spokesperson confirmed to The Associated Press.

Mowry, 32, is married to 31-year-old actor Cory Hardrict, who has credits from the television show "Lincoln Heights" and a role in the upcoming film "Battle: Los Angeles." The couple wed in 2008 in a ceremony in Santa Barbara.

"We are both so excited to be parents," the couple said in a statement to Us Weekly. "We have been wanting this a long time!"

The actress is probably best known for starring in the 1990s sitcom "Sister, Sister" with identical twin Tamera Mowry.
