Thomas Gibson of 'Criminal Minds' arrested on suspicion of DUI
Thomas Gibson of "Criminal Minds" had a rough morning.
The 50-year-old star was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department Central Traffic Division on January 6 for suspicion of DUI, OTRC.com has confirmed.
The actor's rep had no immediate comment.
According to E! Online, Gibson was arrested around 1:05 a.m. when he attempted to drive through a part of town that had been sectioned off for a half marathon by the central traffic division.
According to the outlet's report, the actor made a $15,000 bail and was released at 1:30 p.m. the same day.
The actor is known for his role as Aaron Hotchner on the hit CBS crime drama. The show also stars Shemar Moore, Matthew Gray Gubler and Kirsten Vangsness, and debuted in 2007.
Prior to the mystery series, Gibson appeared as Greg Montgomery in the long-running ABC show "Dharma & Greg." The actor appeared alongside actress Jenna Elfman.
