'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' gets a theatrical re-release for Bella Swans birthday

Summit Entertainment announced that it will re-release The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, reports Deadline.com

According to a statement, the re-release will allow "moviegoers to celebrate Bellas birthday with their friends." The film will be rolled out to 1,187 theaters on Friday, September 10.

The move is a little odd considering that Bella Swans actual birth date is September 13 (yes, we checked).

So far the films domestic haul stands at $298.8 million and the weekend re-release could push the film to a record $300 million box office. It is already the highest grossing movie in the Twilight Saga series.

The Twilight Saga: EclipseDVD will be released on December 4.
