'The Hills' finale features 'fake' ending, Lauren Conrad attends live after show
After six seasons in Hollywood, the drama of The Hills has come to an end. The send-off was filled with closure for most of the ladies, including a reappearance of the shows former star, Lauren Conrad, during the live after show.
Theres never like a moment when Im, like I really regret that," Conrad said about her participation on the show. "Because I think if you choose to share your life with an audience then you should share it all.
Conrad also touched on her relationship and fall-out with Heidi Montag after the latter married Spencer Pratt. "I think there's only so much you can do and you have to let go," she explained. "You have to give your friends your blessing and let them live their lives."Pratt and Montag are now separated and Montag prepares to film a new reality show with a friend in Malibu this summer.
As for the rest of The Hills cast, the show gave all their storylines proper send offs. Lo Bosworth moved in with her boyfriend Scott. Stephanie Pratt got serious with motocross racer Josh. Audrina Patridge moved out of Hollywood and down to Hermosa Beach and Kristen Cavallari jetted off to Europe leaving ex Brody Jenner watching, or so we thought.
In a final twist ending, the hillside scenery behind Jenner moves aside to reveal the backlot of a studio. Cavallari pops out of her town car to give Jenner a high five as the camera pans out showing the lot in its entirety.
What aspects of the show were fake? What was real? The audience may never get an answer.
