Teri Hatcher gives 'Smallville' a ratings bump
Teri Hatcher's guest spot on Friday night's "Smallville" helped give the show some of its best ratings of the season, according to Deadline.
The episode, which featured Hatcher as Lois Lane's mother, scored well with nearly 3 million viewers tuning in, and an 18 percent increase in the key 18-49 viewing demographic from the previous week.
Hatcher played Lois Lane opposite Dean Cain's Clark Kent/Superman on "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman." The series ran from 1993 to 1997.
During Friday night's episode of "Smallville" titled "Abandoned", Hatcher played Lois Lane's (Erica Durance) mother Ella in recorded video tapes prior to Ella's death.
