'Teen Mom's Farrah Abraham arrested for DUI, asked Twitter followers for beer
Wonder years, or blunder years? "Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham was arrested for drunk driving, according to E! Online, after asking Twitter fans for alcohol earlier this week.
Abraham, the author of "My Teenage Dream Ended," was pulled over in Omaha, Nebraska after nearly striking a police vehicle on early Tuesday morning. The 20-year-old mother was administered a breathalyzer test and blew a .147, which is nearly twice the legal limit.
Her 4-year-old daughter, Sophia, was not in the car.
The reality star responded to the incident with a flippant comment on Twitter.
"It's Amazing what people believe & makeup (LOVE MY LIFE) #Thank #God #I'mSuccessful & I don't care about drama! #HaveAGreatDay."
On Sunday, she used the social media tool to ask her followers for beer.
"#WHERE ya gettin your #CornBeef today !!!!?????" Abraham typed. "&& That #Lucky #Irish #Beer! Send it my way!!!!"
Abraham first rose to fame on the MTV reality programs "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom," which chronicle the lives of young women facing the sobering realities of motherhood. She is also the author of the children's book, "Passy Perfume."
