Taylor Swift releases new video, man arrested for trespassing home linked to singer
Taylor Swift had a busy week celebrating her 23rd birthday and the release of the music video for "I Knew You Were Trouble," but the star might have gotten a scare after it was reported that a man was arrested for trespassing a home linked to her in Nashville.
A man named Nicholas Kulke of Wisconsin took a bus to Nashville and climbed the fence of a home that has been reported to have ties to Swift. He told police he was there to surprise a woman on her birthday, according to The Associated Press. Swift turned 23 on December 13.
The 24-year-old man was charged with criminal trespassing and his bond was set at $10,000. He was arrested early on Friday, December 14. Although Swift's spokesperson declined to comment on the matter and the affidavit does not identify the property owner, the wire service reports that Swift has a connection to the property.
Kulke claimed he was in contact with a person at the home through social media and it was her birthday and he wanted to surprise her and that he was also dating her.
Swift is currently romantically linked to 18-year-old One Direction singer Harry Styles.
The singer released her latest music video for "I Knew You Were Trouble," a single off her new album "Red," on December 13. In the video, Swift his seen snuggling up to a bad boy rocker and she sports a punk-inspired look.
