Taylor Swift had dinner with Tim Tebow, report says
Taylor Swift was reportedly spotted having dinner with Denver Broncos football player Tim Tebow.
According to Clevver News, the pair were seen dining together in Century City, California on the night of Monday, February 27. The entertainment outlet reported that Swift and Tebow arrived together and a source told them, "After dinner, he walked her out, and then he walked back in to join two other people. I think they may have been with their agents."
The actress and football player's reps had no immediate comment on the reports but dining with agents sounds more like a business meeting than romance.
Swift and Tebow were also caught talking for nearly an hour at talent agency WME's (formerly known as William Morris Endeavor) pre-Oscar party on Friday night, according to CelebBuzz, who said Swift approached Tebow and he looked "more than happy to be talking with her."
Tebow has become a pop culture icon after sparking the meme "tebowing," with his touchdown ritual, which involves getting down on one knee to start praying, even if everyone else around you is going something completely different.
Tebow recently made headlines after being set up on a date with actress Jenny McCarthy, 39, by talk show host Rosie O'Donnell.
The 24-year-old quarterback was born in the Philippines, the son of a Christian preacher and Baptist missionary. Tebow supports over 40 national evangelists working in the country.
Swift has been romantically linked to the likes of Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal but recently told Vogue magazine that she is very much single.
"I got nothing going on! I just don't really feel like dating. I really have this great life right now, and I'm not sad and I'm not crying this Christmas, so I am really stoked about that," Swift told Vogue magazine for their February cover story. "I think I am smart unless I am really, really in love, and then I am ridiculously stupid."
The 22-year-old country singer is currently working on her next album, which she confided will be about a certain "earth-shattering... crash-and-burn heartbreak" that she endured. Her album "Speak Now" also included songs about her previous relationships with the likes of Mayer, Jonas and Lautner.
The country and pop singer recently invited 18-year-old fan Kevin McGuire, who's battling leukemia, to the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards. She is up for three awards including Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year for her 2011 song, "Mean."
Swift recently performed at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, taking home the awards for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for "Mean."
The 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards are scheduled to be held in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 1st and will air at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
