Taylor Swift buys parents $1.4 million home?

Taylor Swift has bought her parents a new home in Nashville, Tennessee, for $1.4 million, a report says.

Andrea and Scott Swift can now relax in the 3-bedroom, 4,929 square-foot tudor estate, which contains a blue stone terrace and an outdoor fireplace, according to Us Weekly, which carried the report.

Swift has not commented. Property records show the home was sold for the same price in September 2010.

The country and pop singer's parents had previously lived in a larger home near the area. Swift resides in the city and is said to own a 4,000 square-foot penthouse there. Us Weekly quoted an unnamed source as saying the singer recently bought a home in Los Angeles, adding: "She is in L.A. so much -- and she was paying a fortune in hotel charges!"
