Taylor Lautner of 'Twilight' stars in 'Field of Dreams 2: NFL Lockout,' Funny Or Die parody (Video)
Taylor Lautner, who plays an often-shirtless Jacob in the "Twilight" vampire romance films, is the star of a Funny of Die video that parodies the movie "Field of Dreams" to poke fun at the NFL lockout.
In the 1989 film, Kevin Costner plays a corn farmer who hears voices telling him to build a baseball diamond in his fields. Lautner takes on the veteran actor's role in the clip, dubbed "Field of Dreams 2: NFL Lockout," and also appears to encounter him in person.
The video features the original film's catchphrase, "If you build it, they will come" and stars football players such as Tony Gonzalez and Ray Lewis, as well as Ray Liotta, who plays NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, actress Marielle Jaffe from "Scream 4" and Dennis Haysbert, who portrays James Earl Jones role and spoofs his famous motivational speech.
Haysbert is known for his role as the U.S. president on the action series "24" and played baseball player Pedro Cerrano in the 1989 Charlie Sheen movie "Major League" and its 1994 sequel. Haysbert also appears in Allstate car insurance commercials.
The NFL lockout began in March and involves a dispute between club owners and football players over the division of $9 billion in revenues. Check out the Funny or Die video "Field of Dreams 2: NFL Lockout" below or watch it here.
