'TRON: Legacy' takes top spot for Friday's box office

Disney's "TRON: Legacy" is dominating the competition at the box office this weekend. The sequel to the 1982 cult classic starring Jeff Bridges, Garret Hedlund and Olivia Wilde took in $18 million on Friday, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In a distant second place is the 3D animated family film "Yogi Bear", which features the voices of Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake. The film earned $4.6 million for the weekend kick-off. "The Fighter" opened in wide release this weekend and put up a solid fight against the competition to land in third place with $3.9 million. Another film that benefited from expanding its theatrical run to more theaters is the fourth place earner "Black Swan" with Natalie Portman. The film took in an additional $2.5 million. As for the newly released Reese Witherspoon romantic comedy "How Do You Know", it ties for fifth place with the Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp film "The Tourist". The star-studded films only brought in $2.4 million on Friday.
