Steve Buscemi shows off comedy chops during 'Saturday Night Live' hosting gig - See video
Steve Buscemi got to show off his comedic talent rarely seen in his film career and on his show "Boardwalk Empire" during his hosting stint on "Saturday Night Live" on December 3.
During his appearance on the show, Buscemi took questions from character actors during his opening monologue, appeared as a creepy coach named Bert and parodied Batman.
The actor, who first hosted the show in 1998, also played the part of a stoner named Geoff on the "Miley Cyrus Show" skit, which poked fun of the Disney stars quasi-scandal where she joked that she smokes "way too much weed" during a birthday celebration. The skit also saw the return of former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Maya Rudolph. Rudolph reprised her Whitney Houston impression to warn Cyrus about the dangers of drug use. Check out the skit below.
Vanessa Bayer impersonates Cyrus on the show's "Miley Cyrus Show" skit. Cyrus herself once appeared on the skit as Justin Bieber.
Buscemi also appeared opposite Andy Samberg as Batman during the show's digital short. Buscemi was taking on Gary Oldman's character of Captain Gordon. The musical guests for the night were The Black Keys.
Next week, singer Katy Perry takes on hosting duties with musical guest Robyn. Watch Buscemi's skits below and vote in our poll below.
