Stacy Keibler to host Lifetime's reality series, 'Supermarket Superstars'
Stacy Keibler will reportedly return to reality TV, this time to host the Lifetime reality series, "Supermarket Superstars."
The series will give chefs the chance to compete to get their product on grocery store shelves by pitching their food products to a panel of three mentors. According to USA Today, the 32-year-old former WWE wrestler has signed on to host.
The mentors will reportedly critique each pitched idea and the creator will continue developing the product, before presenting it to a buyer for supermarkets.
The winner will receive an investment in their food product and the opportunity to compete in the season finale, where the winning idea will be put on grocery store shelves nationwide.
Keibler made her reality TV debut on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars." She has also guest-starred on series like "Psych," "Chuck" and "How I Met Your Mother."
She has spent much of the summer relaxing at her boyfriend George Clooney's estate in Lake Como, Italy. Last month, they were struck with food poisoning after visiting Cernobbio, Italy.
"Finally had a bad meal in Italy," Keibler, 32, Tweeted on July 5. "Our whole dinner party got food poisoning #ohwell at least I'm still in Italy.
Apparently, everyone survived the unpleasant experience relatively unscathed and Clooney and Keibler are feeling better.
Keibler has been dating the 51-year-old actor since last summer. The pair went public with their relationship in September 2011, stepping out together at the Toronto Film Festival for the premiere Clooney's film "The Ides of March," which sees Clooney playing a U.S. presidential candidate.
