Stacy Keibler and George Clooney reveal New Year's Eve plans
Stacy Keibler and George Clooney have appeared increasingly cozy at recent premieres and apparently plan to spend their New Year's Eve together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
"I think that we will definitely be with friends and family, that's for sure," the former WWE wrestler told celebrity chef Rachael Ray of her plans with Clooney. "We may have a party."
Though the couple plans to spend the holiday at home, Keibler insists that their quiet night at home won't be too quiet.
"There will definitely be some dancing and drinking going on," Keibler continued.
Keibler also mentioned her upcoming role in the TV movie, "Fixing Pete," which is set to air on January 7 on The Hallmark Channel, where she will play a model.
Keibler and Clooney went public with their relationship in September, stepping out together at the Toronto Film Festival for the premiere Clooney's film "The Ides of March," which sees Clooney, 50, playing a U.S. presidential candidate. The following day, he and Keibler, 31, were photographed together leaving a party, according to Us Weekly, which published one of the paparazzi pictures.
Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis, a 32-year-old Italian actress and model who appeared in the 2005 comedy film "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo," announced in June that they had broken up after dating for about two years. Keibler and "7th Heaven" actor Geoff Stults split last year.
Canalis recently appeared on the 13th season of the ABC reality show "Dancing With The Stars." Canalis and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy, became the second pair to be eliminated on September 27, 2011. Keibler competed on the series during its second season in 2006, placing third.
In September, Clooney defended Canalis against reports that she was sending him harsh text messages for moving on with Stacy Keibler. The actor issued a statement to TMZ which said that the stories were "completely fabricated in order to sell magazines. I never comment on my personal life unless it affects others... and this lie affects others."
Canalis recently opened up about her relationship with Clooney, telling Italian journalist Bruno Vespa, "Between us there was more of a father-daughter relationship. I was unable to clarify this up 'til now."
