Stacy Keibler, George Clooney step out together at Toronto Film Festival
Stacy Keibler and George Clooney stepped out together at the Toronto Film Festival over the weekend following weeks of dating rumors.
On Friday, September 9, the two attended the premiere of his new film "The Ides of March," which sees Clooney, 50, playing a U.S. presidential candidate. The following day, he and Keibler, 31, were photographed together leaving a party, according to Us Weekly, which published one of the paparazzi pictures.
The two have not confirmed a relationship and have kept quiet about their love lives. Clooney and Keibler, a former WWE wrestler, reportedly spent time together at the actor's villa in Lake Como in Italy last month, Life & Style magazine said. The pair has not commented on the report.
Keibler's sole public comments about her time at the recent event consisted of a Tweet about her outfit.
"Loved my vintage @armani dress last night," she said on Sunday. "Thinking about wearing @armani again tonight :) Having a blast at #TIFF"
"The Ides of March" is set to open in the United States on October 7. The film's title comes from the infamous line from the William Shakespeare play "Julius Caesar" and is adapted from the Broadway play "Farragut North."
Clooney also directed and co-wrote the movie, which sees him playing Pennsylvania Governor Mike Morris, a Democratic presidential candidate. Ryan Gosling portrays Stephen Meyers, his press secretary, who becomes involved in a sex scandal that engulfs Morris' campaign. Philip Seymour Hoffman stars as the governor's campaign manager.
The movie also features Evan Rachel Wood as Meyers' intern, Marisa Tomei as a New York Times reporter and Paul Giamatti as a rival campaign manager.
Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis, a 32-year-old Italian actress and model who appeared in the 2005 comedy film "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo," announced in June that they had broken up after dating for about two years. Keibler and "7th Heaven" actor Geoff Stults split last year.
Canalis is currently rehearsing for a run on the upcoming 13th season of the ABC reality show "Dancing With The Stars," which premieres on September 19. Keibler competed on the series during its second season in 2006, placing third.
