Snoop Dogg releases new song, 'WET', says it's for Prince William's bachelor party
Snoop Dogg has released a new song called "WET" that the rapper says is perfect for Prince William's bachelor party before his wedding to Kate Middleton.
Prince William, the second in line to the British throne, and Middletown announced in late November that they would marry on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey, the site of the 1997 funeral of his mother, Princess Diana, as well as the 1947 wedding of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. William and Middleton are 28 and met eight years ago when they were students.
The song is the second single from Snoop Dogg's new 11th studio album, "Doggumentary Music", which is set for release on March 8, 2011. The first official song from the record, "New Year's Eve" featuring singer Marty James, was released in early November.
No music video has been released for "WET" and the rapper is calling on fans to create a YouTube clip featuring them dancing to it as part of a competition. The winner is set to receive a trip for two to the United Kingdom.
Veteran singer Elton John has reportedly said he will "probably" perform at the royal wedding, while the day of the ceremony will be marked as a national holiday in the United Kingdom.
